Since receiving my Master’s of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1996 I have been engaged in over fifteen years of serving youth, adolescents, and adults in a wide range of capacities and services.
- Clinical Director of two residential community based group home treatment
programs for severely emotionally disturbed adolescents.
- Private practice for over eight years providing psychoanalytic treatment
for a range of emotional and psychic maladies.
- Will complete this winter the curriculum for Certification for
Psychoanalytic Psychothreapist from The Northern Rockies Psychoanalytic Institute in Bozeman. This is an extensive training program requiring class work, 300 hours personal analysis, and 80 hours of individual clinical supervision.
- Training in an inner city psychiatric emergency room/hospital diversion
program performing emergency evaluations and treatment planning.
- Upon graduation accepting a position as clinical therapist with
The New Bedford Child and Family Services.
